LG's Triple View is three times the fun!

In a previous article I touched on Texas Instruments dual view LCD displays debuted during this year's CES.  LG has one upped TI with a new 47" LCD display called the Triple View which per it's namesake is capable of displaying three different images simultaneously.  LG is specifically targeting the digital signage market with a retail twist by being able to engage multiple consumers at the same time.  Even though all three images are displayed simulataneously it is your viewing angle in relation to the screen which determines which one of the three images you will see.  The viewing angles are offset by approximately 45 degrees.  Use of this display has many advantages needless to say, less real estate consumed by signage by essentially integrating three displays into one, and placed correctly you could engage an entire family by marketing female fashion, male fashion and children's fashion all on one display before they even sset foot in the store.  The LCD is capable of full 1920 x 1080 but there have been no hints as to the unit's cost once it comes to market.
